GBLT Ceremonies

GLBT weddings and commitment ceremonies vary by couple, just as they do with straight couples. Some couples prefer a more traditional religious service, while for others an interfaith / multi-cultural, non-religious, or creative ceremony fits their need. What is crucial in all the descriptions above is that the couple experiences this ceremony as an authentic expression of their love for one another in all its depth and richness. My commitment is to work with the couple to provide just such an expression. I personally believe that love and commitment need to be honored and celebrated in all their expressions.

For each of the particular services noted below, my commitment includes two pre-marital conversations to help each couple not only prepare for the wedding, but build a foundation for a great marriage, and attendance at both the wedding rehearsal and wedding ceremony.

For out-of-town couples, our pre-wedding planning and counseling conversations can take place via phone or Skype.
